Addison Group is partnering with a well‑established real estate organization operating within a residential land banking and development environment. Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced professional to support real estate transactions, legal coordination, and compliance initiatives across a growing portfolio.

Job Description:

The Closing & Compliance Manager plays a critical role in overseeing real estate transaction closings and ensuring ongoing compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. This individual will manage purchase, sale, and transfer closings while supporting compliance efforts tied to entities, documentation, and reporting. The role works closely with internal leadership and legal counsel and serves as a key point of coordination with external partners to ensure transactions are executed accurately and efficiently.

This is a highly visible position supporting senior leadership in a small, collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage real estate transaction closings, including purchases, sales, and financing activities
  • Lead closing checklist discussions with sellers, lenders, escrow, title, and other transaction partners
  • Oversee execution, tracking, and delivery of closing and loan documents to ensure deadlines are met
  • Act as a liaison between internal leadership, legal counsel, title and escrow teams, and financial institutions
  • Maintain due diligence files, compliance records, and transaction documentation
  • Monitor critical dates, regulatory deadlines, and reporting requirements
  • Assist with entity administration, including filings, formations, and dissolutions in coordination with tax and legal partners
  • Provide administrative and operational support to executive leadership, including calendar management and confidential correspondence
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, and internal or external engagements
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of standardized processes to support compliance and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate closings, compliance, title, escrow, or transactional support
  • Strong background in commercial real estate transactions required
  • Active Notary Public license or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Experience working closely with legal counsel and external transaction partners
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Professional communication skills and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Schedule:

    Full‑time, Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (some flexibility on start time)
  • Work Environment:
    Onsite, business professional dress code
  • Reporting Structure:
    Reports directly to General Counsel
  • Team Structure:
    Small team environment with high visibility and impact
  • Start Date:
