Analyst, Development

The Analyst, Development provides analytical and operational support to the W&D Affordable Development team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial and operational reporting, updating property-level data, and supporting portfolio tracking, reporting, and presentations. Working closely with the development team, the Analyst helps ensure consistent, timely, and accurate reporting across the Affordable Development portfolio. This position is designed to build a strong foundation in affordable housing finance, portfolio management, and real estate development analytics, serving as a key support role within the team.

** Education and Experience
** Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1+ year of relevant experience in real estate development, affordable housing, finance, or a related analytical role preferred.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
** Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present financial data clearly and accurately.

Solid PowerPoint skills, with experience creating clear, professional presentation materials. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present findings, trends, and insights to senior leadership.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to show ownership of your work, embrace challenges and growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes

This position has an estimated base salary of $65,000 - $75,000 plus discretionary bonus. An employment offer is based on the applicant’s relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
