JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate is a passionate motorcycle enthusiast who has previous experience in brand or product management. This candidate must be a quick learner, self-starter, troubleshooter, and problem solver with a positive attitude. You must have attention to detail, be able to think proactively, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in retail or wholesale distribution in the motorcycle/powersports industry is preferred.

This is a full-time in-office position at the Calabasas Hills, CA headquarters.

Goal / Responsibilities:

The product manager is responsible for achieving assigned brand sales, margin and support inventory turn goals and driving overall brand success.

To achieve this goal, the product Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior representatives at assigned brands, ensuring consistent communication and in-person presence at key sales meetings.
  • Drive brand KPI performance collaboratively with dealers and sales team; these include sales, gross margin, turns and overall profitability.
  • Define and optimize product assortments (models, styles, colorways, sizes) to meet brand objectives; partner closely with inventory planning to manage stock levels, new product introductions, and lifecycle strategies for core and markdown items.
  • Analyze brand performance metrics (KPIs) and adjust strategies to maximize results.
  • Develop and execute brand strategies that drive market share growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including digital, marketing, and sales, to guide product offerings, homepage features, and promotional campaigns.
  • Support dealer network success by educating and assisting on programs and brand representation; participate in dealer meetings as needed.
  • Provide leadership for training initiatives, including developing content for sales meetings and learning modules.
  • Manage promotional campaigns with brand partners, ensuring timely communication to internal teams and dealer networks.
  • Oversee seasonal marketing materials, including workbooks and mailers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand objectives.
  • Conduct in person visits, including dealer visits and training as well as brand visits to gain “on the ground” learning and feedback. ~20% of work time should be out of the office
Experience
  • Product or brand management
  • Strong understanding of motorcycle parts and apparel brands
  • Parts management experience a plus
Skills
  • Strong communication skills / must be comfortable presenting and discussing features and benefits of product in small and large group settings
  • Strong Excel / analytical skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines and remain flexible

Salary Range: $80K – $105K, depending on skills and experience

Opportunity for promotion to merchandise manager which would include additional brand responsibilities
