A Typical Day...
As a Team Leader, you will lead a customer-centric team, manage a single H&R Block tax office, and help grow our seasonal tax business. You will develop your knowledge, serve as a resource on tax topics, and ensure excellent client service.

Preferred Qualifications...

• Experience managing multiple units in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries
• At least 2 years as a Tax Professional

Responsibilities...

• Partner with the District General Manager to develop growth plans and manage community involvement
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates
• Handle escalated client service issues
• Ensure proper scheduling and conflict resolution
• Oversee daily operations, quality standards, and deadlines
• Train and coach associates, lead team meetings, and manage schedules
• Prepare tax returns as needed
• Conduct performance reviews and resolve employee issues

Required Skills and Experience...

• Customer service or shift leadership experience
• Supervisory or management experience
• Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing taxes)
• Continuing education compliance and IRS/state requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• High school diploma or higher
