Job OverviewWe are seeking to employ an enthusiastic Health Visitor to join our team at White Rose Medical Centre in New Tredegar. You will be working within a team of Health Visitors and skill‑mix staff delivering an Early Years Health visiting programme to families living in the North Caerphilly area.
Main Duties- Contribute to the development of new projects and policies within the health visiting service, including research, implementation and evaluation of evidence‑based practice.
- Provide universal, enhanced and intensive Health Visiting services to children and families from all cultural diversities on the case load.
- Work as a team across locally defined areas and support the service across Gwent to provide a safe service for all preschool children and their families.
– Essential Criteria
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Leadership skills.
- Competent IT skills, completing data and writing emails.
- Proven skills in motivating and influencing others.
- Flexible approach to unpredictable workload demands/patterns.
- Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance.
- Confident and able to motivate others.
- Team player and change agent.
- Ability to travel between sites and visits in a timely manner.
- Change management skills.

- Working with multi‑disciplinary team.
- Experience of working with safeguarding and vulnerable families.
