Support Assistant - Position

• Offer day-to-day emotional and practical support to motivate and empower young people to gain independence and reach their full potential.
• Provide support and advice in line with support plans and as requested by the young person's keyworker, working collaboratively as part of a team who embrace differences and creative thinking.
• Engage and build strong relationships with young people while understanding the impacts of homelessness, domestic abuse and trauma.
• Demonstrate a forward‑thinking attitude to crisis response.
• Remain calm and collected in challenging and traumatic situations.
