** We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide organisational support, logistics and administration for the lecturing team within the ILS and wider Care department at Crosskeys Campus, Coleg Gwent. Working predominantly with the team to support students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to encourage engagement in education, social inclusion and integration.
You will have extensive and recent practical experience of supporting lecturers or teams and individuals with learning difficulties, disabilities and additional learning needs combined with experience of working in practical environments. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and without direct supervision. This is a key role within the department and would suit someone who wants to support others in making positive impacts upon people’s lives.
You will have at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above, including Maths and English/Welsh First Language and a relevant L3 qualification, or be willing to work towards this. You would also need to hold a full clean driving licence and be willing and able to drive the College minibuses as required and also hold or work towards obtaining a First Aid qualification.
The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.

Lecturing posts will require a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or the willingness to attain one with a specified period of time. This will be a requirement under your contract of employment and EWC registration.
