Cover Supervisor

Are you confident in managing a classroom and keeping students engaged in their learning? We are currently seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Rhondda Cynon Taff
, delivering pre-set lessons and ensuring a smooth learning environment in the absence of teaching staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with classroom experience to take the next step in their career or for experienced Cover Supervisors looking for a new placement.

• Strong Classroom Management: This role requires someone who can confidently manage student behaviour, keep lessons on track, and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Experience Preferred: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is ideal, but we’re also open to experienced LSAs or individuals with a solid background in classroom settings who are ready to step into a more independent role.
• Reliable and Adaptable: Schools need people who are punctual, professional, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.

• Prior experience working in schools or with young people
• The confidence to lead a class using pre-prepared materials
• A calm, approachable, and assertive manner
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
