Yard Operative | Caernarfon

Location: Caernarfon Pay Rate: £13.60 per hour Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (Temp-to-Perm)
Hours: 42.5 per week | Monday to Friday |  (flexible)

, where your main focus will be supporting daily yard operations using a Counterbalance Forklift
, with some admin work as needed to support the on-site office. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors while also contributing to efficient logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move, load, and unload gas cylinders and materials.
• Keep the yard clean, organised, and running efficiently.
• Support with stock control and movement tracking.
• Carry out admin tasks such as data entry, delivery mapping, customer and client liaison.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

• ✅ Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• ✅ Previous yard, warehouse, or logistics experience
• ✅ Basic admin and IT skills
• ✅ Comfortable with manual handling and outdoor work
• ✅ Reliable and team‑focused
