Overview
Apply now for the position of Maintenance Technician. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our IMMULITE manufacturing equipment operates at peak efficiency, enabling reliable production of diagnostic solutions that impact patient care and the success of our mission. This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday with rotating hours: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using appropriate troubleshooting techniques and investigate the root cause to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production teams and the maintenance systems coordinator to prioritize maintenance tasks and address equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Document all maintenance activities in line with GDP guidelines and through the CMMS system.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring problems and suggesting/implementing solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with EHS procedures.
- Minimum of a Level 3/ONC in Electrical/Mechanical/General Engineering or equivalent.
- Time Served Apprenticeship.
- Experience in maintaining electrical/mechanical plant and equipment, particularly packaging and process equipment.
- Experience in maintaining electrical control panels, including AC inverters and PLC control systems.
- Experience with pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Experience in an ISO quality system regulated environment; understanding of GMP is advantageous.
