Salary: GBP 12,500. per year

Job Title: Cleaner-in-Charge Crud y Werin School

Hours: 21.5 hours per week during the school term

Location: Gwynedd (Caernarfon area)

To work as an important member of the cleaning team. Duties to include keeping designated areas clean and hygienic.

• Cleaning, washing, sweeping and vacuum cleaning.
• Emptying litter and recycling bins.
• Polishing and dusting of designated areas including furniture and fixtures.
• Cleaning toilets and shower areas; replenish toilet paper and soap.
• Use of powered equipment when appropriate.
• Move between areas as required and during different terms and school closure periods.
• Report any concern or suspicion that a child or vulnerable adult is being abused.
• Undertake other reasonable duties corresponding to the salary and responsibility level.

• Health and Safety training (e.g., moving and handling or first aid) – Desirable
• Experience of being employed as a cleaner – Essential
• Good interpersonal and communication skills – Essential
• Language requirements: able to follow instructions and understand simple Welsh and English; able to read and write simple messages in Welsh and English

• Personal attributes: able to work as part of a team – Essential
• Qualifications and relevant training: essential
• Desirable: additional training or experience as listed above
