Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Position: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (Contract)
Mechanical Commissioning Engineer - Wales
DMW require a mechanical commissioning engineer for a power plant in North Wales.
Role:

* Dry commissioning of Main Inlet Valve (takeover from installation)

* Power up of cubicle.

* Signal testing.

* Filling of systems.

* First pressurizing of HPU.

* Sub logic testing of HPU and auxiliary systems.

* Opening and closing time adjustment of MIV, first movement of MIV

* Seal adjustment, friction band measurement.
Requirements:

* Hands on experience in mechanical commissioning associated with power plants (essential)

* OEM contractor experience (essential)

* MIV commissioning experience (desirable)
Rate &

Conditions:

* Rate: £45-£50 LTD or CIS per hour + sat overtime rate.

* Accommodation:
Provided.

* Transport:
Compensated 2 hours per week of standard rate.

* Start: 01.02.2026 (at the latest)

* Duration: 8 weeks.

* Location:

North Wales.

* Working time:
Monday-Friday (50 hours) Saturday (6 hours)

* Tools:
Provided.

* IT (Laptop):
Provided.
