Clinical Practitioner Psychologist – CAMHS Eating Disorder Service
We have an opportunity for a Clinical/Practitioner Psychologist to join the ABUHB CAMHS Eating Disorder Service. We are an enthusiastic and supportive team comprising mental health and paediatric nurses, occupational therapists, family systemic therapists, psychiatrist and dietitians alongside support staff. We see children, young people and their families with a range of eating difficulties and our clinical work is informed by the Maudsley approach as appropriate.
We offer a range of individual and group based activities and put the needs of the young people at the centre of our work.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting children, young people and their families living with disordered eating. The focus of this post will be supporting the more complex presentations of disordered eating, including ARFID type presentations, and children and young people presenting with disordered eating associated with co‑occurring neurodevelopmental conditions and those for whom the Maudsley approach is not indicated.

This post will be working with CYPs and their families. You will maintain close professional links with the wider child psychology team and will be professionally supported and managed within the Child and Family Psychology and Therapies Service.
