Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, compliance with specifications, and structural integrity.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Grind, cut, and finish metal components as required to prepare for or complete welding.
• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to project designs.

• Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent industry-recognized certification.
• Demonstrated experience with various metal types, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship in a manufacturing setting.

• Advanced AWS or ASME certifications (e.g., D1.1, D1.6) for specific materials or processes.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and weld symbols for critical applications.
• Experience with fabrication, fitting, and grinding tasks.
• Familiarity with automated welding systems or robotic applications.
