About the Role

Surgical technologists are essential members of surgical teams across all Munson Healthcare hospitals. This role demands exceptional clinical judgment, critical thinking, precision, and robust interpersonal skills. As part of the operating room team, you will collaborate with various specialty surgeons, their physician assistants, and advanced practice registered nurses, all dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care in a fast‑paced setting.

A Day in the Life

  • Prepare operating room for incoming surgeries, whilst keeping a sterile environment
  • Prepare patients for their procedures, hand surgeons instruments upon request
  • Stock supplies as needed and prepare the operating room
  • Stock inventory of supplies and maintain files and records of procedures

  • Radiologic Technologists in Radiography Certification - Must have passed or is eligible for the examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography.
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
