Step into a lead role where innovation is the expectation, not the exception. You'll own mechanical design projects from initial idea to handoff, building complete systems and subassemblies that power advanced hardware solutions for global industries.
Here's how you'll make an impact on the team:
- Take end-to-end responsibility for mechanical systems, ensuring each design meets performance, durability, and manufacturability goals
- Translate complex product needs into mechanical designs that work in the real world
- Partner closely with R&D, software, electrical, and operations teams to deliver production-ready solutions
- Conduct technical reviews and present your findings to leadership for critical design decisions
- Utilize tools like Solid Works and FEA to verify design integrity and performance
- Contribute to intellectual property development through innovative engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited program preferred)
- 10+ years in hands-on product development and mechanical design
- Advanced experience with Solid Works and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS)
- Demonstrated ability to design for manufacturing across prototyping and production stages
- Strong ownership mindset and collaborative work style
- U.S. citizenship (required for access to project work)
$90,000 - $125,000 per hour
