Overview

Family Practice Physician to provide clinic-based comprehensive primary care to patients of Southwest Montana Community Health Center (SWMTCHC) under the general direction and supervision of the Medical Director and working under a contract. The physician will provide team leadership that promotes a culture of safety, quality, cooperation, advocacy and collaboration. Physician works independently and interdependently with other clinic providers, including primary care providers, behavioral health, clinical pharmacy and dental services.

Our providers have access to AI-assisted charting tools and to Maven for real-time specialist consultations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinic-based comprehensive primary care to SWMTCHC patients.
  • Support flexible scheduling of at least 20 hours and up to 40 hours per week.
  • Provide team leadership that promotes safety, quality, cooperation, advocacy and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with other clinic providers (primary care, behavioral health, clinical pharmacy and dental providers) and have performance evaluated through direct observation, consultation, and written documentation.
  • Utilize AI-assisted charting tools and Maven for real-time consultations with specialists.
Position Summary
  • FLSA Exempt.
  • Flexible scheduling - we can offer at least 20 hours and up to 40 per week.

Position Requirements
  • MD/DO (unrestricted) with board certification in Family Practice Medicine.
  • Valid license/DEA in the jurisdiction of the clinic.
  • Two years of experience in practice preferred.
  • Experience:

    Two years of prior experience in a primary care or community health center environment is preferred.
  • Experience serving vulnerable patient populations across the lifespan is highly preferred.
