Town Pump is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our marketing department. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or an individual looking to expand their experience in communications, graphic design, data management, and marketing operations.
The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with team members to execute marketing initiatives across multiple platforms, including social media, digital displays, internet aggregators, print media, and promotional materials. This position plays a key role in ensuring marketing materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Schedule and manage sign distribution and posting
- Create and maintain internal help documents and workflow guides
- Maintain organized digital file systems and update Smart Sheet records
- Print, laminate, assemble, and distribute marketing materials and mailbags
- Assist with maintaining location services accuracy and data integrity
- Gather and organize images to support marketing initiatives
- Provide support in the creation of monthly print flyers
- Schedule and coordinate marketing posts
- Respond to internal marketing requests in a timely manner
- Assist team members with creative and production-related tasks
- Learn marketing workflows and production processes to support projects
- Update door signs, business cards, and operational signage using templates
- Serve as backup support for Accounts Receivable and Fuel Departments as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to operate office equipment, including copier, fax machine, and 10-key adding machine, accurately
- Basic knowledge of financial accounting practices and procedures
- Ability to write clear, concise business correspondence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, store employees, and all levels of office staff
- Strong prioritization and time-management skills
Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; OR six months to one year of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent
