Work Hours:

Monday to Friday (40 or 45‑hour contracts available)

Salary: £31,000 – £39,000 starting salary, OTE up to £40‑45k depending on contract.

Service Engineer (Field) role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. You will enjoy a field‑based role within a small geographical location, offering extensive on‑the‑job training, benefits and progression routes.

The role will be suitable for engineers from any plant, forklift, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment background, as well as vehicle technicians looking to transition into a new industry. The company will provide full training for the required skills.

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repair on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
• Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
• Complete comprehensive training to achieve full competence on all machinery and equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory in van overnight.

• Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment (or automotive technicians/motor trade).
• Engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills.
• Preferably hold a Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Willingness to complete full training package.
