Overview

Skilled MIG Welder Fabricator –

Location:

Bury St Edmunds (easy access from the A14);
Job Type: Permanent;
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience);

Hours:

45 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:45 and Friday: 07:00 - 13:00.

• MIG welding mild steel plate (10-15mm)
• Fabrication of components to technical drawings
• Ensuring all work meets quality and specification requirements
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Working safely and in line with company health & safety procedures
• Working both independently and as part of a skilled team

• Significant experience in MIG welding
• Proven experience welding 10-15mm plate
• Strong background in metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong awareness of health & safety
• Good communication skills and team-working ability

• Relevant vocational or trade qualification in welding or metal fabrication (preferred)

• Competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum
