Area Facilities Officer

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day‑to‑day facilities operations across multiple sites
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory building regulations
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance
• Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
• Be a key player in creating safe, productive environments

• Experience in FM or building compliance
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A problem‑solver with a hands‑on approach
• Passion for making buildings work better for people

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week, based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis. Working hours are 9-5 based in Bury Town Hall.
