Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full or part time permanent Band 6 occupational therapist to join our rotation programme. This post provides the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, knowledge and leadership across a range of settings within the acute and community assessment bed setting. This role would be suitable for someone seeking to develop their clinical and leadership skills at Band 6 level in a wide range of specialities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and interventions to patients within the rotational settings.
  • Participate in professional supervision and training for other occupational therapists, students and therapy assistants.
  • Assist the team lead in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service provided to patients, on a day-to-day basis.
  • Provide additional support in the absence of the team lead and to the wider teams as required.
  • Actively contribute to service improvements to ensure practice is of the highest quality, evidence based and meets the needs of the local population.
