Job Description & How to Apply Below

The stroke service, at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, is well known to achieve very good results in SSNAP (Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme). There was a recent change in domains and key indicators and we came together, as a team, to overcome the challenges and continue to provide excellent stroke care.

We are a passionate team, driven by the feedback we receive from our patients and having the opportunity to see, in person, their recovery. We believe we can make the difference!

We provide 24/7 specialist, emergency response for all stroke and TIA patients throughout the Trust, providing them with the expert assessment, care, and interventions that they require.

Main duties of the job

To succeed in this role you will demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of the multidisciplinary team, where communication is crucial.

We are also involved with the training and education of staff throughout the hospital, and supporting our active research department.

A specialised training programme will be available to ensure you have the knowledge and skills required to undertake all aspects of the role.

If you are a passionate and experienced nurse, who is keen to work as a senior skilled member of the stroke nursing team, to provide high standard patient centred care, we would love you to apply
