Salary: £60-£70k + Package
Are you an experienced Senior Site Manager looking to take the lead on a landmark commercial development? We are recruiting on behalf of a respected Tier 1 main contractor delivering a £70m project with long-term pipeline and excellent career progression.
The Role:
As Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of a major commercial build. You will lead site operations, manage sub-contractors, maintain high standards of health & safety, and ensure the project meets quality and programme targets. This is a high-visibility role within a high-performing team, ideal for someone who enjoys leading large-scale, complex schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme compliance
Lead and manage sub-contractor teams and site supervisors
Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver project milestones
Ensure all HSEQ policies and procedures are followed
Coordinate site logistics and resolve operational challenges promptly
Maintain excellent communication with clients, consultants, and the wider project team
About You:
Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager for a Tier 1 main contractor is essential
Strong background in large-scale commercial or complex build projects
Experience on school or education sector builds is highly advantageous
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery excellence
