Early Years Nursery Manager

Our client is a large charitable Early Years nursery group based across the UK. This role would involve overseeing the Honington Nursery near Bury St Edmunds. This is a large, busy nursery with a team of over 20 staff and potential for 70 children.

Our client is an Ofsted Registered Charity which prides itself on a family focus, child development and safeguarding. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who wants to continue their journey in Management with an amazing Charity and team around them.

This is a busy, fun and energetic nursery, full of personality. It is looking for its next leader who can match its drive and enthusiasm!

Important Information

Salary £33,908

Plus Annual performance bonus

Hours - 38 hours a week

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
  • Paediatric First Aid (full)
  • IOSH Managing safely (or prepared to undertake)
  • Previous experience as nursery manager
  • Experience leading and motivating a team, with excellent proactive team engagement and involvement
  • Previous experience managing income and expenditure budget
What we are looking for
  • A Nursery Manager with previous experience and a hands on, can do attitude
  • A driven and nurturing personality who wants the best for the children and team
  • Strong knowledge of Early Years
  • Appropriate qualification is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to write and maintain clear records
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance
  • Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
