Save Money Cut Carbon  has signed a ground-breaking contract with a leading national water retailer to provide water efficiency audits, implement smart retrofit solutions, and identify broader opportunities for businesses to save even more through energy, water, and carbon reduction initiatives.

Following an initial audit and retrofit visit, each client receives a comprehensive Savings Report — showing what’s been installed and where additional savings can be made through deeper investment projects such as:

Additional Water Efficiency Solutions
  • Grey water harvesting
  • Low-flush toilet systems
  • Controls
  • Low flow taps & shower solution
Additional Energy & carbon Reduction solutions
  • LED lighting upgrades
  • Solar PV installations
  • Electric vehicle charging infrastructure
  • Graphene underfloor electrical heating
  • Gas boiler eco management

We’re now looking for a dynamic, professional salesperson to take the lead on the next stage of this journey: presenting reports to qualified and warm clients and converting incremental opportunities into impactful projects to clients who have already received a free audit and first fix, retrofit water efficiency solutions.

The Role

You will be the key link between our field audit teams and our customers’ next stage of sustainability action. Your focus will be on:

  • Following up on completed water efficiency audits and reports.
  • Engaging clients in professional, consultative discussions about the additional opportunities identified.
  • Presenting business cases with clear ROI, payback periods, and measurable environmental impact.
  • Converting opportunities into signed projects — either through direct purchase or our innovative “Pay as You Save” capital-free model.
  • Building strong, lasting relationships across multi-site and SME business clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively contact and follow up with clients after their initial water efficiency audit visit.
  • Book, prepare for, and lead client meetings (in-person and virtual).
  • Present energy, water, and carbon savings reports clearly and persuasively.
  • Quantify financial and environmental benefits, helping clients build strong internal investment cases.
  • Close sales across a broad portfolio of sustainability technologies.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities in CRM, reporting progress and results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Project Delivery, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
About You

You’re an ambitious, commercially minded professional who thrives on making a tangible impact. You love converting insight into action — and sales into savings.

Essential
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in sustainability, energy, water, or facilities management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable with data-driven selling and financial justification (ROI, payback, savings).
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and proactive in follow-up and pipeline management.
  • Familiar with CRM ideally Hub Spot
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Desirable
  • Experience in water or energy efficiency solutions.
  • Familiarity with ESG, carbon reporting, or sustainability strategy.
  • Knowledge of capital-free or as-a-service financing models.
  • Experience of public, education sectors would be a distinct advantage
