Job Title:
Supply Chain Development Assistant
Reporting to: Associate Director Supply Chain Development
Department: Supply Chain Development
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Associate Director of Supply Chain Development. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, managing communications, coordinating projects, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, a problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Handle expense reporting and invoice processing.
- Project Coordination:
- Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and follow up on action items.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure version control.
- Communication & Liaison:
- Act as a point of contact between the Associate Director and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft and manage communications, including emails and meeting agendas.
- Coordinate team meetings, workshops, and events.
- Data & Reporting:
- Support data collection and analysis for supply chain initiatives.
- Maintain dashboards and trackers for performance metrics.
- Assist in preparing materials for executive reviews.
- Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in supply chain or operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with project management tools
- Familiarity with buying, merchandising and/or supply chain terminology and processes.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
