Looking for a hands-on, varied role where your mechanical skills really make a difference? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established Inverness client for a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician
.

What you’ll do:

• Fix, maintain, and troubleshoot plant machinery
• Support production and reduce downtime
• Assist with new equipment installs and upgrades
• Keep workshops tidy, safe, and organised
• Follow H&S, ATEX, and food safety standards

What we’re looking for:

• Time-served Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience
• Welding/fabrication + basic electrical skills
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings
• Problem-solver, team player, adaptable
• Bonus: malting/process industry experience, forklift/MEWP certified, UK driving licence

The details:

• Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 (30-min break)
• Harvest (mid-Aug–Oct): 12-hour shifts, no holidays
• On-call rota approx. 1 week in 5
• Must live within 30 mins of site
