External Sales Representative – MKM Building Supplies

MKM is the leading independent builders’ merchant in the UK, established in 1995. With over 135 branches and 3,200 employees nationwide, we are looking for a talented and experienced candidate to help drive growth and development at a branch level.

• Identify new business opportunities, promoting MKM as the supplier of choice and converting to regular business.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring continued excellent service.
• Work in the local area, proactively visiting potential and existing customers to build lasting relationships and exceed expectations.
• Maximise sales and margin in all customer dealings.

• Previous experience in a sales position (essential).
• Experience in the Builder’s Merchant sector preferred.
• Ability to generate new business and develop lasting customer relationships.
• Excellent negotiation skills, confidence, enthusiasm, and a full driver’s licence.
• Flexible schedule:
  Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
