- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to menu specifications at multiple client locations.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in all working environments.
- Adapt menus and recipes to suit location, audience, dietary requirements, and available facilities.
- Collaborate with clients, event coordinators, and catering teams to ensure a seamless culinary experience.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies efficiently while traveling.
- Troubleshoot kitchen or equipment issues independently in different environments.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times, representing the company positively.
- Proven experience as a chef in professional kitchens, catering, or private events.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in varying kitchen setups.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings.
- Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation is required.
- Experience with multiple cuisines or specialized dietary requirements (vegan, gluten-free, etc.).
- Event or private chef experience.
- Ability to train or mentor junior staff.
- Food styling and social media content creation skills.
- Travel to different client locations; may involve overnight stays.
- Work environments vary: commercial kitchens, temporary event kitchens, outdoor setups.
- Physically demanding: long hours standing, lifting, and transporting equipment.
