Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Temporary to Hire

$19.00 hr depending on experience

8am – 4:30pm (Mon – Fri)

Burr Ridge, IL 60527

• Accepts and signs for deliveries
• Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck
• Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock
• Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments
• Ensuring no damaged items are sent or received
• Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Notify Supervisor of any shipment discrepancies, damaged product, etc.
• Maintains records of all received shipments
• Conducts inventory of products, and logs data into inventory database
• Address and answer Customer Service inquiries about pending orders and shipments

• Receive in packages
• Inspect & count items being returned
• Process returns in computer system and run reports
• Place return product in stock location
• Package non-stock product to be returned to vendor
• Inspect and count items being sent in for repair
• Process Purchase Orders for repair items to be shipped out to vendor for repair
• Receive completed repairs from vendor and ship to customers

• Must be detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous warehouse experience required
• Returns experience a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Good computer skills
• Microsoft Word & Outlook knowledge required
• Good typing skills
• Good communication skills
