Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic CPG environment. This role supports day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a high-volume, product-driven business.

• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including inventory and COGS

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Assist with sales and use tax filings and other compliance requirements

• Help analyze variances in operating expenses and product costs

• Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams for financial accuracy

• Support internal and external audits as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1–3 years of accounting experience (internship or CPG industry experience a plus)

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books)

• Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis

• Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
