The Factory Enablement & Support organization is seeking an early career/entry level Software Engineer to join a team working on support applications related to SMART factory initiatives. The role involves full‑stack development of applications for manufacturing workflows, data extraction, processing, and provision for use in front‑end tools across multiple platforms and databases. The engineer will collaborate extensively with internal customers, including leadership, to support day‑to‑day operations.
WhatYou Will Do
- Work with cross‑functional teams.
- Build and maintain software applications.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces (UI).
- Create unit tests for application code.
- Participate in writing and/or reviewing software requirements, specifications, design artifacts, and system/user level documentation.
- Participate in testing and code reviews.
- Ensure compliance with software standards and conventions.
- Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience or familiarity with C# or Java.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Razor.
- Experience with Integrated Development Environments such as MS Visual Studio and VS Code.
- Familiarity with best practices of software development for small to medium scale projects.
- Working knowledge of SQL, .NET, Git, MVVM or MVC frameworks, XAML, and Ignition.

Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 USD. Salary may vary based on experience, education, and regional cost of living. Hired applicants may be eligible for additional benefits such as short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation, flexible work schedules, and a comprehensive benefits package dependent on business unit and union status.
