Position Overview

Professional business‑to‑business (B2B) sales position responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory. Generates and secures new sales by contacting property management firms, large corporations, and sports‑related facilities. The role manages a portfolio within a local, one‑branch territory generating annual revenues of approximately $500 K to $800 K.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans for small to large businesses such as property managers, school systems, sports facilities, government facilities, restaurants, banks, and any company in need of superior lawn care products/services.
  • Present proposals for lawn‑care services and programs and obtain long‑term contracts.
  • Generate new business to business sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.
  • Negotiate price and design using company‑provided guidelines and technology/CRM.
  • Generate leads through CRM system to manage projects, opportunities, contact information, and forecasting reports.
  • Project manage duties within branch, coordinating with local branch management and service team.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a four‑year college or university or related work experience.
  • Preferred previous sales experience, proven sales track record, industry or internal company related experience.
  • Previous business‑to‑business (B2B) sales experience preferred.
  • Landscaping, lawncare, tree and shrub or pest experience a PLUS.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of the organization’s products and/or services.
  • Demonstrated consultative selling abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence internal and external decision makers.
  • Ability to complete reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • General computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM platform, Outlook/Office 365.
  • Ability to execute prospecting strategies for discovering and closing new accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with internal associates and external customers.

  • Lift or move up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Compensation

$40,093.00 – $72,166.00. Factors may be used when making an offer, including candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location. Most candidates start in the bottom half of the pay range.
