Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Overview
Cub Burnsville South on County Road 42 is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time deli position. Deli team members prepare and finish products, such as meats, salads, and prepared foods to department standards for placement in the deli case for customer selection. This position combines customer service and attention to detail to provide customers with safe, reliable and consistent product.
Responsibilities- Assists with food preparation
- Provides customers with accurate, prompt and courteous service
- Sets, fills and rotates deli cases and displays
- Assists in receiving of product
- Breaks down department and performs cleaning duties
- Follows all store and department policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Equipment operation (compactor, coffee pot, pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, scales, Cry-O-Vac machine, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, food processor, pizza oven)
- Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Memorization, reading, writing and math
- Ability to interact with customers, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
- Good judgment and the ability to operate with varying supervision
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Willingness to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age and older
- Lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs
- Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
- Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil
- Varied weekly shifts
- Weekends required
