General FunctionThe Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at every Lens Crafters location. This role helps establish Lens Crafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to choose the perfect vision solution.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed.
- Actively participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
- Take pride in store appearance and show initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
- Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems, computers and calculators with basic phone and math skills.
- Embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivator with demonstrated ability to multi‑task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
Pay Range: $15.34–$20.98 per hour. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
