We have an opportunity for a strategic Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager with proven excellence in leadership and operational efficiency. You will lead a large team of experienced manufacturing operations supervisors, establish long‑term objectives, manage production schedules, drive innovation, and lead projects to optimize the organization’s production capabilities.

• Manage and ensure all quality related items for the unit or shift are complete and documented so that established quality standards are met.
• Lead cost reduction efforts and process improvements for the unit or shift to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
• Lead scheduling for the unit or shift to ensure that operations run according to established production schedules.
• Lead the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for the unit or shift to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of resources.
• Drive materials and logistics problem resolution for the unit or shift to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
• Establish performance objectives and lead cell performance and productivity.
• Lead production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for the unit or shift to enhance production capabilities for assigned Product Lines.
• Partner with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience as an operations manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.

• 5+ years’ manufacturing experience within Aerospace Industry.
• Collaborative leadership behaviors that emphasize high goal setting, team empowerment and providing support.
• Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early, and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels.
• The ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.
