Role Summary
Under the supervision of the Fleet Department Superintendent and Crew Leader, the seasonal Fleet Maintenance Worker performs skilled and general labor in the maintenance and repair of city vehicles and the maintenance facility. Responsibilities include cleaning and organizing vehicles and repair bays, sealing floors, assisting mechanics as needed, running parts, and shoveling or blowing snow around the facility.
The work of Public Works department staff touches the lives of residents and visitors daily by supporting the operations and maintenance of City streets, water and storm drains, and City municipal facilities.
Schedule and CompensationThis role is non-exempt (hourly) with a starting wage of $17.42, and the schedule is 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This is a temporary, six-month position.

- A valid Class D Driver’s License or eligibility to obtain a Driver’s License in the State of Minnesota.
