Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an AMR Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background, a strong ability to learn and adapt, proficient computer knowledge, and the flexibility to travel as needed.
Responsibilities1. Installation and Deployment
- Install and configure AMRs according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AMRs into existing systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on AMRs to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions promptly.
- Update and upgrade AMR software to the latest versions.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of AMRs with existing systems.
- Maintain comprehensive records of AMR installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Generate reports detailing the performance and status of deployed AMRs.
- Provide training to end-users on the operation and basic maintenance of AMRs.
- Offer technical support to internal teams and clients as needed.
- Post Secondary degree with exposure to robotics, electronics, computers, or a related field a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Familiarity with robotic systems, sensors, and automation technologies a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50% at times) as required for installations and maintenance activities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work schedules.
- Previous experience in the field of robotics, automation, or related industries is a plus.

Compensation- 90-day probation period (reviewed and agreed both parties monthly to meet non-supported work requirements)
- Salaried position based on hourly rate. (Employee classification = Exempt)
- Probation period = Salaried rate $44,000.00 / year
- Post Probation = Salaried rate $50,000.00 / year
- Position requires variable travel with overnight(s) based on order activity.
