Overview
Here at Fairview, we are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. This is a casual position that will work as needed by the department. There are day/evening/night/weekend shifts available. Position includes 2 rotating holidays per year. Shifts range from 4-12 hours.
The Hospital Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting. Responsible for providing quality age-appropriate patient care for inpatients and outpatients according to established standards of practice and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The hospital radiologic technologist supports all imaging procedures, surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x-ray, and general x-ray performed in the hospital.
Provides assistance in opening of supplies/equipment for surgical and special procedure cases, as well as responding to codes, trauma activations and other emergent needs for imaging in an acute care environment.
- Maintains patient care
- Performs examinations
- Identifies relevant data from images accurately
- Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
- Verifies patient identification and documentation
- Communicates with and educates patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
- Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
Shifts include day/evening/night/weekend options with 2 rotating holidays per year. If the majority of shift hours are worked between 3pm – 11pm, compensation includes an additional $6.00 per hour on top of base rate and shift differentials. If the majority of shift hours are worked between 11pm – 7am, compensation includes an additional $8.00 per hour on top of base rate and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications- ARRT Certification/Registration
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- B.S./B.A.
- 3 years experience as a technologist in a hospital setting

Compensation DisclosureAn individual’s pay rate within the posted range may be determined by factors such as skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
