Job Description
Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Audiologist to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Assesses auditory function and communication problems caused by hearing loss utilizing appropriate audio logic diagnostic procedures. Provides consultation and recommendation of audio logic (re) habilitation, including amplification devices (when appropriate). Promotes patient advocacy, patient education, and prevention of communication problems. Employee may be required to float to any site on occasion, as determined by business need.
Work Schedule:
Full-time 1.0 FTE. Monday - Friday, 4 - 10s
Required Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology or Communication Disorders with specialization in Audiology required.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Required upon hire:
State of Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Licensure for Audiologists. (Maintenance of MDH Licensure is required for the duration of employment.)
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Adheres to the Code of Ethics of ASHA and/or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and if the Audiologist is a member of the Minnesota Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MSHA) or Minnesota Academy of Audiology (MAA), then also responsible for adherence to their Code of Ethics. This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations, and internal policies affecting the employment relationship.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
