Sr. Mechanical Engineer

As an Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project teams in designing, prototyping, troubleshooting and providing customer support. Coordination with production staff to produce the highest quality equipment, with the greatest efficiency is another high priority.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Duties and

    Responsibilities include;

    but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop and dial in current products to meet customer demands and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify high potential equipment to build, thereby growing the line of products produced.
  • Oversee and manage equipment certifications with approved agencies (UL, etc.).
  • Work with production staff to gear up for and dial in productions of equipment.
  • Coordinate with management team to build prototypes.
  • Gather information from field applications regarding performance and appropriateness of manufactured products.
  • Represent products at specified trade shows.
  • Work with internal teams to identify potential new equipment designs.
  • Gather information on industry competitors.
  • Provide product demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Provide product support for all units produced.
  • Write or coordinate with technical writers to produce high quality service and operations manuals.
  • Create equipment training classes for service and sales staffs.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience designing HVAC and/or electromechanical related equipment.
  • Strong hands on and mechanical skills.
  • Strong electrical skills and the ability to work safely with 3 phase power.
  • A background and/ or ability to learn how to fabricate metal parts.
  • Strong leadership and professional skills.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
