Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District has six teaching substitute openings for the 2026 STEM Success Academy Summer Program. STEM Success Academy Summer Program teachers will be teaching current 8th grade students who will be transitioning to 9th grade in the fall of 2026. STEM Success Academy Summer Programming will be located at Burnsville High School and teachers will work from approximately 8:30 am – 1:00 pm Monday through Thursday.

• Dates of Summer School Programming are as follows
• Week 1: June 15, 16, 17, 18
• Week 2: June 22, 23, 24, 25
• Week 3: July 6, 7, 8, 9
• Week 4: July 13, 14, 15, 16
• Field Trip: July 17
• Bus Drop off Time: 8:50 - 9:00
• Breakfast: Grab-and-Go 9:00
• Lunch: Delivered starting 11:15 - 12:00
• Class Schedule for Students: 9:00 - 1:00
• Hours for Teaching Staff: 8:30 - 1:00
• Bus Pick Up Time: 12:50

• Requirements: Current Secondary Teaching License
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching summer school
• Experience teaching 8th and 9th grade students
• Experience utilizing data to inform instruction
• Experience with team teaching

• Rate of Pay: $32.25 per hour
• Note: Summer hours are not guaranteed and reductions may occur based upon enrollment.
