Description
Mackin Educational Resources is Minnesota based company known nationally for distributing print and digital content, makerspace products, professional learning solutions, and our new Mackin Vision LMS to schools, classrooms, and school districts across the United States.
We are looking for a qualified, energetic, and motivated Trainer / Customer Support to add to our growing Mackin Vision team.
Responsibilities:- Participate in and/or deliver training and/or workshops of Mackin Vision to Librarians and Library support staff at K-12 schools
- Contribute to the production of training and support materials
- Assist in the development and delivery of customer support, training, and communication, including training videos or webinars, as required
- Help to continue to develop content for Mackin Vision training
- Represent and promote Mackin in a professional and positive manner at all times
- Contact and communicate with current customers to support products or services
- Support and train clients and associated personnel through phone, email, live chat, webinars and other electronic manners
- Use of remote access software for support/training sessions
- Reading and assimilating all software release notes and/or announcements to stay up to date with changes in the Mackin Vision Library application and supporting technologies
- Staying up-to-date with all internally distributed training, support materials, and resources
- Create and/or design custom services to fit individual customer needs
- Work effectively with members of the Customer Support Team
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment within Mackin Vision and Mackin departments
- Experience meeting with customers in-person as well as experience conducting remote meetings via Zoom/Google Meet/etc.
- Ability to uncover customers' needs and present solutions that benefit both the customer and Mackin
- Understanding of the principles and processes for providing excellent training/customer service
- Ability to learn, develop product knowledge, and react quickly
- Understanding of library practices and overall educational practices
- A clean US drivers' license and flexibility to travel
- Knowledge of PK-12 education industry
- Familiarity or affinity with the education and/or library arenas
- Professional presentation skills
- Minimum 4-year college degree, master’s degree in library or education preferred
- $65,000 - $70,000 annual salary
- Onsite from our Burnsville, MN office with potential for some hybrid work
