Overview
Project Manager - Business Processes at Trystar focuses on optimizing manufacturing and business processes, leading cross-functional teams, and applying Lean Six Sigma to improve operational performance. This role is based in Burnsville, MN or Faribault, MN.

Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Lead initiatives that streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve performance across Trystar’s business
- Lead and manage projects aimed at improving business processes and operational efficiency.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that milestones are achieved and results are sustained.
- Analyze data and metrics to measure project success and identify areas for further improvement.
- Facilitate regular meetings to report on project status, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving among team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process improvement methodologies, with relevant certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
- 3 years of experience in project management.
- Highly motivated, passionate, with exceptional communications skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on driving operational efficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of business processes, tools, and technologies is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
- PMP Certification
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
