As a brickwork apprentice you will learn how to carry out complex building projects according to set specifications. This apprenticeship will give you the knowledge and skills to work for leading employers in the construction trade, on national and international projects.

Entry RequirementsA minimum of English and Math's GCSEs at Grade 3 or above.

Cladding
Solid walling
Isolated and attached piers
Repairing and maintaining masonry structures
AssessmentKnowledge learning outcomes will be assessed via an on-screen assessment which is externally set and marked by the awarding organisation supported by several theoretical assessments. You will also complete a range of practical assessments within Themis at Burnley College. Performance learning outcomes will require auditable evidence of competent performance from the workplace which demonstrates your ability against set assessment criteria, completing a NVQ portfolio of evidence.
On successful completion of this course you may progress on to the advanced craft Level 3 apprenticeship in Brickwork
