Specification Technologist

Specification Technologist 6-Month FTC We're looking for a Specification Technologist who's obsessive about detail and confident owning the full specification process - from supplier approvals to artwork sign-off and retailer systems. You'll manage own-label and branded product specifications, ensuring everything is accurate, compliant, and launch-ready. This is a hands-on role working closely with NPD, QA, Procurement, Production, customers, and suppliers to keep products moving and audits clean.

What you'll be doing Owning and maintaining product specifications across retailer systems Managing supplier approvals, risk assessments, VACCP, food defence, and authenticity Reviewing and approving artwork, labelling, allergen and nutritional data Ensuring compliance with UK, EU, and US food legislation and customer standards Supporting product launches, shelf-life testing, and QAS Preparing technical documentation for customer and BRC audits
