About the Opportunity

Our Quality team play a key role in ensuring our products meet strict engineering and process requirements. You'll carry out detailed product and process inspections, recording evidence of compliance and identifying any non-conformances. Using your problem‑solving skills, you'll lead containment and corrective actions to make sure all delivered parts meet specification. You'll also support the implementation of Safran's quality policies and objectives, focusing on reducing the cost of non‑quality and minimising internal and external concessions through the effective use of quality tools.

What

You'll Be Doing
  • Conduct product and process inspections to verify compliance with drawings and process requirements
  • Identify, record, and help resolve non‑compliances through containment and corrective actions
  • Implement Safran's quality policy and objectives, focusing on reducing costs of non‑quality and concessions
  • Apply appropriate quality tools to support continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation of inspection, findings, and corrective actions
What You'll Bring
  • Regulation knowledge (internal, security, working schedule)
  • Time-served qualification in a relevant field
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (G, D & T) and datum systems
  • Solid problem‑solving skills (5 Why's, Ishikawa, RCA, 8D)
  • Knowledge of aeronautical standards and sheet metal/heat treatment processes
  • Familiarity with anomaly treatment, non-conformance characterization, and applicable quality rules
  • Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications and interpret technical documents
  • Knowledge of metrology, shelf‑life products, marking rules, and statistical basics (control charts, capability)
  • Understanding of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and rules
  • Proficiency with relevant software (Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, SAP quality module, SPC tools)
