About the Opportunity

As a TIG / GTAW Welder, you will be a vital part of our Sheet Metal Components team, working in a controlled welding environment with advanced aerospace alloys, including titanium. You will play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and delivery targets are met through the production of high-integrity welds. Your expertise supports Safran's reputation for excellence and continuous improvement in aerospace manufacturing and product performance.

What

You'll Be Doing
  • Perform TIG/GTAW welding on a range of aerospace alloys, with a focus on thin gauge titanium and nickel alloys
  • Ensure high levels of safety by following company policies, all health & safety instructions, and correct PPE usage
  • Deliver precision, right first time’ welds to engineering drawings and strict quality standards
  • Mentor and support new team members in welding best practices and quality expectations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying cost savings, supporting LEAN activities, and collaborating effectively with colleagues
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with manual TIG/GTAW welding in an aerospace environment and valid welder qualifications (or proof of equivalent experience)
  • Experience with TIG/GTAW welding process for titanium and nickel alloys (preferable)
  • Excellent concentration and appreciation for welding thin gauge titanium and its alloys
  • Ability to interpret master layouts and detailed engineering drawings
