Social Inclusion Worker

Overview

As a Social Inclusion Worker, your role involves planning and organising a variety of activities to support the well-being of adults in our care. You will encourage and support residents to participate in individual and group events and regularly review and adapt activities to meet their changing needs. Additionally, you will coordinate logistics, manage resources, and ensure activities run smoothly and safely.

The role may include lone working and 1-1 support in the community. If you are a creative and organised individual with a passion for helping others, then this role is for you.

• Plan and organise activities to support adults in care, encouraging participation in individual and group events
• Regularly review and adapt activities to meet changing resident needs
• Coordinate logistics and manage resources to ensure activities run smoothly and safely
• Provide lone working and 1-1 support in the community as required
• Participate in safeguarding and adhere to organisational policies and procedures

• Candidates must have an NVQ Level II (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this.
